Toni graduated from George Washington University with a BA in Fine Arts, studying both print-making and ceramics. In her last year of study, she did camera work on an independent feature-length film, and has been photographing ever since. Combining her love of travel with her visual sense, Toni’s images of people around the globe weave a fabric with a repeated pattern – of work, of play, of love and of joy. Her portraits have been described as an attempt “to scrape the flesh off with the pixels,” to find the wellspring that sustains us all no matter where we might live, how we worship, or what language we might speak.
