From the weathered face in Cambodia to the hopeful expression of a Chilean school girl, my travels have brought me into contact with people of many different cultures. But what stands out for me is our common bonds. Children splashing each other with water and giggling are the same everywhere. Here I invite you to enjoy images from India to the American Southwest and points in between. Perhaps you will recognize yourself or someone you know in these images, even though the clothing and the culture might be different. After all, in a world with so much emphasis on what divides us, I feel it's imprtant to focus on our connections.
"We do not take a trip. A trip takes us. In this way, a journey is like a marriage. A certain way to be wrong is to think you control it."
